Panelcraft Access Panels have developed the Firepan Anti-Ligature Range to provide an effective safe solution for vulnerable applications.
The anti-ligature design elements of this access panel are not intended to replace the need for necessary supervision of those who may be at risk, or for other mandatory protective measures to be utilised for the specific usage. We do not offer any products for sale as being "ligature-free" and will not be liable for claims associated with ligature attachment on its hatches/panels.

Structural Opening to be formed Level, Plumb and Square
The structural Opening should be lined with 12.5mm Fireline board.
The aperture after lining is fitted should be 10mm greater than the panel.
For example, a 2300 x 950 panel needs a structural opening of 2310 x 960 after being lined with the Fireline board
Insert the Frame into the opening.
Fix Frame using a 75mm steel screws using the pre punched holes in the frame on all four sides (do not fully tighten).
Ensure equal gap around all sides of the Frame Then fully screw fix ensuring the frame remains square and plumb. Ensure all fixings are solid but do not over tighten as this could distort the frame.
Apply a 5mm wide bead of Intumescent Sealant (2 Hours Minimum Rated)
to the back edge of the frame /aperture lining connection.
On larger doors it is advised the door is removed from the frame by unbolting the door and lifting from the hinge studs. Re hang the door once the frame is fixed and secure. Ensuring gap is equal top and bottom before re bolting the door into the frame.
